I am mostly, but not entirely, happy with these speakers, but I should not complain since the price was great and the quality is also great. Here are 21 things I have to say about this speaker:1. The quality of the sound is EXCELLENT (5 stars), arguably as good as the $200 Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker (my sister's husband has that one).2. It looks really beautiful, very well-made, of excellent quality. It is definitely an instant "attention-grabber" if you were to pull it out somewhere. Mine is red/white so I do not know if the other ones will stand out as much as this one.3. It lasted me 2 days and a bit of 3rd day before I needed to charge the battery on the 3rd day (didn't count the hours). Definitely lasted me a minimum of 8-10 hours.4. It gives you sound warnings when the battery is about to die in a few minutes.5. It can pair up with TWO devices at a time and I can play music or videos from either one at any time and the SoundBlock will instantly switch to whichever device is playing something. A 3rd device cannot pair while two are already paired up. i got this to work w/ 2 iPads simultaneously or 1 iPad and 1 LG G3.6. The SoundBlock pairs up to a phone or tablet in seconds and without any problems at all.7. I live in an apartment and i measured it is 38 feet long. I put the SoundBlock on the most opposite end of the apartment and my phone on the other end, the music never stopped, even w/ closed doors. However, when I went downstairs, it cut off on the third step down, at just 26 feet. But also, when I walked outside my apartment to the hallway the connection cut off at the 32 feet mark. Therefore, the type of door you have and type of walls can make a difference.8.Read more ›

This is a very good Bluetooth speaker with great sound and functionality. It uses Bluetooth 3.0 per the Amazon web page but the manual states it uses lower power Bluetooth 4.0. It has a rechargeable battery inside of it. The battery when fully charged can play the speaker for 10 hours of continuous music. There is an on/off switch that you can use to turn off the power to conserve the battery power. The internal Lithium-Ion battery is a 2200 mAh capacity battery. The battery will take about 3 to 4 hours to fully charge with the included AC wall charger. The speaker is stylishly designed with a textured metal speaker grill cover and it is heavy as it weighs in at 2.5 pounds. It contains two 40 mm drivers rated at a combined 12 watts of audio output. The unit paired its Bluetooth receiver with my iPhone 5S instantly and the sound of the music was excellent. The trebles were clear and nice and the bass was strong and solid. Really, it is a booming bass. The volume output is also very loud for a Bluetooth speaker of this size. The speaker also has an auxiliary input port to use with your devices that do not have a Bluetooth feature. In addition the speaker has a Micro SD card slot to allow you to plug in a 32 GIG Micro SD with your music on it. That way you can have many hours of listening enjoyment. There is also a USB port on the side of the speaker and you can plug in a thumb drive that is loaded with your music and play the songs using it as a source. You can switch between different audio sources by pressing the play button on the top of the speaker. What's in the box?* The speaker which weighs in at 2.5 pounds.* An instruction manual.* An AC wall charger that has a plug on it for your speaker.Read more ›

I was amazed by the volume on this little thing! I turned it on and was amazed both by the clarity as well as the loudness! Its simple to set up, just turn it on and the phone will pair without much hassle.using it as a speaker phone is awesome! You hear the person loud and clear, maybe echo cancellation would have been a nice feature but so far noone told me its too much to make it unusable.I also like the fact that it can be used while charging!

Truly I would give this 3.5 stars, but I rounded up to 4 since that is not an option. The Böhm soundblock is not as impressive as some of the other more well known brands of portable bluetooth speakers, but it's pretty good for it's price point. I really like that they offer a VERY wide range of color combination/selections for the 'custom' feel. The construction is nice, and overall the quality was good. For me, the downside was that the sound wasn't quite as 'large' as I was hoping; some of these small units can put out an impressive sound for such a small device and I just felt that this little guy was good, but not as much 'wow' as I've gotten from other brands. I haven't used for a full 10 hours straight that the user guide claims the battery will last, but I have not had to charge it yet and I've used here and there a fair bit. The one annoyance I did have was that to adjust the volume on the SoundBlock itself it makes a 'beep' every time you push the + or - for volume, which interrupts the music... seems a bit odd. Other than that, the controls seem ok. Haven't used as a speakerphone yet, so I can't comment on that portion of it's functionality.Overall:Pros: Good construction, nice 'custom' color options, easy to use, battery life seems good, good price compared to much more expensive wireless speakersCons: good sound - but not great, annoying sound adjustment
